Lacroix executive Chef Jon Cichon will be hosting his second seasonal installment of Aubergine, a pop-up restaurant concept held outdoors in The Rittenhouse's courtyard, on Wednesday, September 21st at 7 pm. For $59 per person, guests will enjoy a variety of super seasonal, vegetable-focused small plates and family-style dishes created by Chef Cichon himself. Aubergine will be providing beer and wine to complement the meal; gratuity and tax will also be included in the fixed price.  This dinner will be one seating only and tickets will be sold in groups of four, as the dinner is designed to be a shared experience. There are six tables of four available and reservations can be made by calling Abbe Stern at 215-790-2525. During the summer this event sold out in a matter of hours. Once all reservations are booked, The Rittenhouse will create a waitlist in case of cancellations.  On Friday, October 7th, Lacroix is also pleased to announce that Dustin Wilson, Master Sommelier and star of the critically acclaimed wine documentary film SOMM, will be their guest sommelier for the evening. He will be pouring wines he selected himself - including a special Syrah from his very own Rhône-inspired Vallin label - to pair with a specialty four-course tasting menu designed by Chef Cichon, just for this event. Guests who dine that night will not only have the chance to learn about Dustin's experience in becoming a Master Sommelier - including running the wine program at one of the world's leading 3-Michelin Starred restaurants Eleven Madison Park -  they will also get to enjoy the four courses and wine pairings for $125, which is discounted 30% from Lacroix's regular four course wine and food experience. There is no need to purchase tickets ahead of time as this menu will be available to all guests that evening but reservations are highly encouraged.
